Working with The SceneWorks Network has been one of the greatest experience I had as a professional actor.
I first met Joel while he was running his pilot workshop. Joel is a renown writer and director and during his workshop he focuses on you, your needs , your development and gets you ready to be a consistent working actor.
There is no other workshop like this in Hollywood. Every session you are on camera, taping a monologue, or taping an audition session and finally, Joel will write a scene catered to you and your talent and you will have a nice piece of film showing your talent by the end of the workshop.
You have to audition to get into his program, which is good, that guarantees you that all actors you will be working with will be experienced. Joel also writes and directs features. I was lucky to be cast in one of them as well as a few other actors from the workshop. His movie “Happenstance” was critically acclaimed in film festivals all over the world.
