How it Works
Join the Network
To get the most out of The SceneWorks Network, start by creating your member profile and choosing the courses, workshops, and coaching options that best reflects your craft or career goals. Join your discipline’s private chat room to connect with like-minded professionals, ask questions, and build relationships. As you train, participate in both online and in-person opportunities, such as labs, coaching, and affiliate studio sessions. When you complete programs or produce work, share it through our showcases, festivals, or market access channels. The more you participate, the more your network, visibility, and opportunities grow.
Live Workshops and On-demand Courses
On-demand courses let you learn at your pace, while live workshops give you direct interaction with instructors and peers. Track your progress through badges and use each class as a networking opportunity. Many collaborations start inside these sessions.
Collaboration & Networking
Each discipline has its own private chat thread where you can connect with others in your field without outside noise. Introduce yourself, share your work, ask questions, and stay active in ongoing conversations. Use the collaboration areas for crew calls, script swaps, casting needs, or forming production teams. These rooms function like professional circles and breakout departments on a real set. The more you engage, the more aligned opportunities will come your way.
One-on-One Private Coaching
Private coaching is the fastest way to accelerate your growth. Choose a coach based on your goals. Whether you’re developing performance skills, preparing for roles, improving leadership, or tackling technical challenges, one-on-one coaching gives you direct guidance, accountability, and personalized feedback to help you level up faster and with clarity. Sessions are personalized, practical, and results-driven. Use these opportunities and spaces to troubleshoot, rehearse, refine, and receive focused feedback you won’t get in regular group settings. It’s mentorship on your schedule, tailored to your craft.
Affiliate Studio Intensives
If you’re ready to train in person, our Affiliate Studios offer workshops, labs, and production-based learning with real crews and equipment. These spaces act as physical extensions of the network and are ideal for hands-on training, rehearsals, camera work, set simulation, and small productions. You can attend intensives and partner with local filmmakers. It’s where online development meets real-world execution.
Festivals, Showcases & Market Access
As a member, once you’ve created work and want to get it seen. you can use our festivals and showcases to gain visibility, receive feedback, and connect with industry eyes. Submit completed projects, scenes, shorts, reels, or works in progress for consideration. Highlighted projects may be promoted through the site, film festivals, distributors, or sales avenues. These opportunities convert development into visibility, helping members shift from skill-building to bookings and from production to distribution.
Our Mission
Our mission is to open doors into the media world by blending education, community, and opportunity. We believe continued learning and meaningful connections are the foundation of creative careers. SceneWorks is where training leads to real-world projects, and creativity is backed by a network that grows with you.
